When it comes to dinner, I often find myself looking at what we have in our fridge and throwing something together. While I sometimes follow a recipe, I hardly ever make one that calls for too many ingredients. In fact, I tend to lean toward recipes that require fewer than 10 ingredients and can be made in less than 30 minutes. That's why this Korean Sesame Ground Beef dish has become a go-to favorite.
I always choose the leanest ground beef option — I use a 93-percent lean (7-percent fat) variety. Then, because we love Korean food in my house, I incorporate Korean flavors into the recipe. Serve it with lettuce or sprinkled on a salad. I love it over rice and topped with green onions and sesame seeds. Voila: There's dinner tonight!
