- Start with an ice tray and some soon-to-expire yogurt. Plain or flavored, Greek or regular… whatever you have in the fridge and don’t want to waste.
- Empty the yogurt into a clean sandwich or snack bag. Snip the tip.
- Squeeze the yogurt into the ice tray.
- Tap the tray on the counter a few times to settle the yogurt.
- Freeze it. [Note: Once frozen, put the cubes into a freezer-safe bag or container. This will help prevent the yogurt from absorbing any odors or flavors from the freezer.]
- When you’re ready to eat, blend the frozen yogurt cubes into a smoothie with your favorite fruit for a quick and nutritious breakfast or snack. No ice needed!
