Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt

Ever have a sweet craving and catch yourself grabbing the whole carton of ice cream? Everyone has been there before, and that’s why this quick cookie dough recipe is great — it gives you a little sweetness while filling up your body with protein and a little dark-chocolate goodness. Moderation can be a key principle to remember and follow when trying to categorize foods. Following three simple principles — moderation, variety and balance — one can implement a healthy lifestyle change.

Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt

Recipe developed by Edith Nault, MS, RD

6 oz. plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon crunchy almond butter
1 tablespoon mini dark chocolate chips
½ tablespoon coconut shavings
½ tablespoon ground flax seed
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Sprinkle of sea salt


  1. Combine all ingredients and enjoy!
