When it comes to essential kitchen tools, a reliable fruit and vegetable peeler has to be right up there with a can opener or tongs. Is the Multi-Peeler a New Kitchen Must-Have? - And as someone who is always trying to squeeze a few extra minutes out of every moment, finding kitchen tools that can multitask can be a complete game changer!

I had the opportunity to try Urban Trend’s Ringo Multi-Peeler, which is characterized by a unique rotating blade head and double-sided blades.

With the multi-peeler, I like the option of having a straight or serrated blade to switch back and forth between if needed, as certain edges work better on some fruits and veggies. This peeler does peel pretty smoothly and is effective at removing any undesired skins without taking valuable flesh with it. At times, it can be difficult to peel your produce depending on how you hold the tool. It peels best when held horizontally against an ingredient.

The coolest feature of the peeler is probably the ability to rotate the blade to fit your prep needs or be more ergonomically comfortable for you to hold. (Have you ever gotten a potato cramp? It’s a real thing!) I would say this peeler does feel a bit heavier to hold than a typical peeler, likely due to the rotating head hardware, but at the same time it is very durable and hopefully long-lasting.

This peeler also comes with a “potato eye remover” at the end to help you easily remove produce blemishes. But the best part of this peeler is that it’s top-rack dishwasher safe so you can quickly throw it in with the dirty dishes and get to other items on your to-do list.

So, if you’re in the market for a versatile and sturdy vegetable peeler in your kitchen, consider the search over!
