If you’re looking for a delicious and quick snack, this refreshing smoothie is the perfect option for you! It is packed with vitamins and minerals such as vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and iron, along with lots of fiber and antioxidants. It also is high in protein with the addition of Greek yogurt. This creamy, berry smoothie is a great heart-healthy snack.

Heart-Healthy SmoothieHeart-Healthy Smoothie -

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla soy milk
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 10 oz. Greek yogurt (I use no sugar added strawberry)
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • *If using non-frozen berries or bananas, add ice cubes

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
