siggi’s Recipe Development Contest

siggi's contest

In celebration of simple ingredients and not a lot of sugar, we are teaming up with siggi’s for a special recipe contest — where you can tap your imagination and create recipes that keep it simple like siggi’s with no added sugar!

Contest Guidelines

Create a recipe with the siggi’s philosophy in mind — simple ingredients, not a lot of sugar. To achieve this, all entries must use at least one of our no added sugar products:

  • plain 0% skyr
  • plain 4% skyr
  • plain triple cream skyr
  • no added sugar 4% varieties

Your recipe can be for any eating occasion, sweet or savory, must be simple to follow and create, and contain simple ingredients. Most importantly, the recipe must be limited in total and added sugars, just like siggi’s.

How to Participate

Submit your recipe by April 15 to FoodandNutrition.org/TestKitchen. Share your recipe pic on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using #FNTestKitchen and #dailysiggis.

What You Could Win

One grand prize winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City to visit the siggi’s office and meet siggi’s founder Siggi Hilmarsson (and play him in a round of office ping pong)! Two runners-up will win a month of siggi’s products!

Winners will be notified in April and winning recipes will be featured in an upcoming issue of Food & Nutrition. And all recipe submissions will be automatically considered for inclusion in our 2019 siggi’s cookbook!
