Lékué PopCorn Maker
Our family loves movie night, a time to relax together at the end of the week and enjoy a kid-friendly movie and fun snack. I’m not sure which part my family loves more — the snack or the movie — but I try to make sure we have something somewhat healthy, such as popcorn, to nibble on.
The Lékué PopCorn Maker is by far the coolest popcorn popper I have ever seen. It comes in a collapsible, bright orange, BPA-free silicone bowl with a lid. All I have to do is add popcorn kernels and a pinch of salt, cover with the lid and put it in the microwave.
My first attempt was a fail because I didn’t realize my microwave was set at a high setting, but the second attempt was an overwhelming snacking success.
The Lékué PopCorn Maker cooked all of the popcorn kernels perfectly. I believe that anyone who can operate a microwave can handle this easy popcorn popper. My only word of caution is that if you let young kids make the popcorn, let the popcorn sit in the microwave for a couple of minutes before they attempt to retrieve it as the silicone bowl retains heat for a while.
As an added bonus, the PopCorn Maker collapsed for easy cleanup and storage. I can’t wait to get rid of my bulky, hard-to-clean popcorn popper and pop open this modern adaption to popcorn excellence.
