Chili Lime Roasted Almonds

- 1 cup (139 grams)unsalted whole natural almonds
- 1 teaspoon (3 grams) chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon (1 gram) cumin
- ¼ teaspoon (2 grams) fine sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon (1 gram) garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon (2 grams)light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) fresh lime juice
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the almonds in a small bowl. In a separate small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, sea salt, garlic powder and light brown sugar. Stir with a spoon until the spices are thoroughly combined. Pour the lime juice into the spices and stir well. Pour the spice and lime juice mixture over the almonds and toss until the almonds are evenly coated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the almonds out flat on the baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes. Serves 8.
